Infants and Toddlers

Infant toddler unit age

Our infant toddler unit age starts at 6 weeks and goes up to 2 years old with a worker to child ratio of 1:4 max.

Teachers write out a weekly lesson, to plan an environment designed for your child to have a well balanced day of learning, social activity and lots of fun! Each infant/toddler is cared for and taught according to their own schedule and needs. The special needs of each infant/toddler is discussed with the parent and written down so that they are cared for individually. Development consists of interactive sign language, working on their gross/fine motor, social and emotional skills.

2 years old

Our 2 year old class begins the potty training stage with a worker to child ratio of 1:8 max

Weekly lesson

Teachers write out a weekly lesson, to plan an environment designed for your child to have a well balanced day of learning, social activity and lots of fun! Two year olds will begin potty training by their teacher taking them to the restroom every 30 minutes. Teachers work daily on children’s development in these 5 different areas: physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.

Before and after care for Ridgeview Elementary School ONLY

After school care

We provide before and after school care for elementary age children up to 12 years old with a worker to child ratio of 1:16 max.

Activities

Teachers provide an environment of fun activities and social interaction with other kids. They serve them a light breakfast before getting them on their bus and off to school. Teachers will get them off the bus in the afternoon safely, provide them with a snack, and activities until they are picked up.
